The only qualification to gain admission to the Mensa society is to pass an approved intelligence test that is properly administered and supervised.  However, at Mensa@SMU, SMU students are able to join us either as a qualified Mensa member by passing the test, or as an associate under the "Mensa Associate" membership scheme.

The following are the details on joining Mensa@SMU:

Mensa Singapore Membership 
Members in this category are required to pass the Mensa Singapore Admission Test (MSAT). They will enjoy the same privileges as other Mensa Singapore members.

Membership Fees (payable to):
S$48 per year (Mensa Singapore)
S$5 per year (Mensa@SMU)

Mensa Admission Test (held in SMU only): 
S$45 (Mensa@SMU)

Mensa Associate Membership 
Members in this category are not required to pass the Mensa Singapore Admission Test (MSAT). They will enjoy discounted rates in Mensa Singapore activities.

S$5 per year (Mensa@SMU)
